Serology tests look for signs of infection in a blood sample. Gomoti Diagnostic Lab lists the following serology tests on its facilities sheet.

Listed on the facilities sheet

  • HBsAg (hepatitis B surface antigen)
  • HCV (hepatitis C)
  • HIV
  • VDRL
  • Typhidot
  • Widal

HBsAg is a hepatitis B test. HCV is a hepatitis C test. HIV, VDRL, Typhidot, and Widal are also printed on the laboratory’s own list. Typhidot and Widal are both used in the investigation of typhoid. VDRL is a syphilis screening test.

A laboratory report is one part of a medical consultation. Gomoti Diagnostic Lab performs the tests it confirms are available. It does not diagnose or treat patients through this website.
